Sima & Sid began with a single strand of beads and a lifelong love of beautiful things.

Our Story

For Sima, jewelry was never just adornment — it was memory, travel, and craft strung together. Over the years she gathered beads the way others collect stories: hand-blown Venetian glass from Murano, intricate brass and silver work from the markets of Jaipur, lava stone and turquoise from the foothills of Nepal, millefiori and ceramic treasures carried home from bazaars across the world.

What started as a personal passion became Sima & Sid — a small, family-run studio where every necklace and pair of earrings is designed and assembled by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike, because no two beads are.

Our Craft

Each design begins by laying out beads on the worktable and letting color and texture lead. We pair the unexpected — frosted sea glass beside antique gold filigree, bold ceramic next to quiet stone — until a piece feels balanced and alive. Findings are gold-filled or sterling, knots are placed by hand, and every clasp is tested twice.
