The Story

This necklace traces ancient trade routes—cobalt from the Mediterranean, amber from the Baltic, turquoise from Persian mines, millefiori from Venice. Each bead is a waypoint from distant ateliers and desert markets. The strand is hand-strung and graduated, with contrasting spacer beads echoing the Rajasthani habit of punctuating color with detail. Gold-tone accents and a sculptural clasp finish it, and the earrings feature hand-painted cobalt beads.
